How It Works

Prima only sells clones to CRA Adult Use licensed cannabis facilities. If you are not a CRA licensed Adult Use facility, click the button below to see our seed options. For clone purchase, start by filling out our onboarding form below so we can start narrowing down our library of genetics for your use case. Once the Onboarding Form is submitted, a Prima Rep will be in contact within 1 business day to begin your custom genetic consultation.

There are two purchase methods for Prima Clones:

Genetic Purchase

A single or group of proven genetics for your use case
Up to 50 clones of the purchased genetic (s)
50% deposit, 50% due upon METRC acceptance
18 days from the clone cut, the genetic will be ready for pickup
Prima covers secure transport for orders over $5,000

Subscription

Access to all genetics in the Prima Library
Prima delivers rooted clones to your facility, of your chosen genetics, on your schedule
Clients realize an immediate decrease in labor, electricity, and supplies in mother/propagation
No need to worry about Hops or Fusarium in your library (Prima handles the testing)
Ability to trial, in your facility, a large variety of genetics to find the right fit for you and your market

The Selection Process

At Prima our genetics fall into four categories:

Outdoor Hash Plants

Outdoor Hash Plants must be reasonably fast-finishing, incredibly resilient, and produce at least 4% fresh frozen to ice water hash. At Prima, we trial hundred of new outdoor plants each year to ensure our library always has the best producers.

Indoor Hash Plants

Indoor Hash Plants can be somewhat less hardy. They must be able to be harvested in 9 weeks or less, produce at least 4% from fresh frozen to ice water hash, and have a unique flavor profile. Each year we breed for, hunt through, and source as many new indoor hash plants as possible to ensure the best selection for our clients.

Outdoor Flower Plants

Outdoor Flower Plants must finish before the 3rd week in October (latest), be very resilient to Michigan’s weather, be flavorful, yield fairly, and be capable of testing 25% THC plus.

Indoor Flower Plants

Indoor flower plants must have a specific use case to stay in our library. Indoor flower plants are evaluated based upon structure, stretch, flower time, yield, bag appeal, flavor, terpene and THC testing potential.

A Wide Net

Each year Prima pops hundreds, sometimes many thousands of seeds to find new or better expressions of this plant. And we use what we find to breed even better expressions. Each pheno is graded objectively for yield, nose, bag appeal, THC and terpene potential, hash potential, and structure.

Genetic Partners

At Prima we know that it takes teams to win championships. So we have enlisted the help of a very select group of breeders, hunters, and preservationists to share information with as we collectively work genetic lines to deliver the best commercial cannabis cultivars for our clients. If it’s in our library, you can rest assured it has some amazing qualities.
